About Us
Mobile Healthcare Clinic is an Australian healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality medical services to residents of aged care facilities and the wider community.
Founded in 2022 by Christian Sangil and Dr Therese Kanaan, our organisation was established in response to the growing shortage of General Practitioners in residential aged care. Their vision was simple: to ensure residents receive timely, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare in the comfort of their own home.
Since then, Mobile Healthcare Clinic has grown into a multidisciplinary healthcare service, bringing together an experienced team of General Practitioners, skin cancer doctors, Nurse Practitioners specialising in aged care, emergency medicine and skin health, medical specialists, psychologists, and physiotherapists. We also provide access to seven-day pathology services through our partnership with Laverty Pathology.
Our commitment to accessible healthcare continues to expand. In addition to routine medical care, we offer on-site vaccination clinics, skin cancer screening and treatment clinics, and medically supervised infusion services, allowing residents to receive advanced healthcare without the need to travel.
While our roots are in mobile healthcare, we are proud to now have a permanent clinic located in the heart of Hunters Hill. This provides a welcoming space where patients can attend appointments, family members can participate in care planning and case conferences, and our healthcare team can deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
At Mobile Healthcare Clinic, our mission remains the same: to improve access to exceptional healthcare services and enhance the wellbeing of every patient we serve.
Meet the Team

Co-Founder and Principal General Practitioner
Dr Therese Kanaan
Dr Therese Kanaan completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Honours) at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2011. During her medical training, she was awarded a scholarship that provided opportunities to work in rural and remote communities across Australia, helping shape her commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare for all Australians.
Dr Kanaan is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centred care. She believes that listening to patients, understanding their individual needs, and empowering them through education are fundamental to achieving the best health outcomes. Her approach focuses on treating the whole person, not just their medical condition.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Kanaan has dedicated more than 12 years to mentoring and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals, including medical students and GP registrars. Recognising the growing shortage of General Practitioners providing services to residential aged care facilities, she has become a strong advocate for improving aged care medical workforce capacity. Her passion for aged care led her to pioneer training initiatives in partnership with Primary Health Networks (PHNs), helping to develop and support doctors interested in aged care medicine.
With over 12 years of experience in aged care, Dr Kanaan has provided medical services across more than 15 residential aged care facilities throughout Greater Sydney. She currently cares for residents at St Anne's, St Joseph's, and Montefiore Hunters Hill, where she is highly regarded for her compassionate, comprehensive, and person-centred approach to care.
In 2022, Dr Kanaan co-founded Mobile Healthcare Clinic with a vision to improve access to high-quality medical services for aged care residents. Through innovative models of care, clinical leadership, and a commitment to workforce development, she continues to champion excellence in aged care medicine and improve the health and wellbeing of some of the community's most vulnerable members.
